Download DigDB Excel Add-in DigDB 7.1.3.3 supports Excel2000/2002/XP/2003/2007 (sorry, we do not support Excel97 or Mac.) setup.exe | zip (File size: approximately 1.09 meg) What do I get? You get a FULL working version which will work for about 15 days. You can uninstall or buy a license at any time. After 15 days DigDB menu will be disabled. How to install? Download the above installer; exit all Excel; double-click the installer, run it through; at the end, Excel will start, and DigDB will load up. You will see a prompt to activate license. See screenshots of a typical install. After DigDB is successfully installed, and license activated, DigDB menu will become part of Excel and will automatically load up when Excel starts.See the screenshot next to the right. If nothing seems to happen after the install, or an error message pops up, or DigDB menu looks broken, please check against the FAQ page.

A Typical Install

Step 1: EXIT all running Excel. You MUST do this or installation may fail.

Step 2: Run Setup, follow through. Check 'Launch DigDB' in the end.

Step 3: When DigDB is being launched, you will see a 'Security Warning' about Macros. Ignore it because DigDB can be trusted. You must choose to click 'Enable Macros' in order to run DigDB. We also recommend you check the 'Always Trust...' checkbox.

Once installed, you should see a prompt to activate license:

 

Activate free trial license

Choose this option to get the free 15-day trial, click 'Next', then click 'OK' to activate. Your machine will need to be on-line. This license is a one-time only license for any machine.



Activate paid license

If you or your group have paid, choose the lower option, then click 'Next', you will see a prompt for Account ID.



You will receive the Account ID in an instruction email shortly after your purchase. If your company is buying a group license, then the person who has made the purchase will receive the email, and he should forward it to the group memebers.

Enter the Account ID into the prompt, and click 'OK' to activate. Your machine will need to be online. You can also click 'DigDB->Help->License->Activate...' to invoke the same license activation prompt.
