Invert Filter - get the inverse of last filtering result

Invert Filter allows you to get the inverse of your last filter result. Suppose you have a list of 'Horses', and you just filtered for the horses between age 3 and 5. The inverse of the filtering result is simply the horses that are younger than 3 or older than 5.

DigDB allows you to invert filter with just one click. You can invert any filter result:

Invert Excel's AutoFilter or Advanced Filter

Click a single cell in a filtered area, invoke 'DigDB->Invert Filter'

Above screen shot has an AutoFilter of 'Age=5'. Excel's filters suppress the unmatched rows. Inverse of the filter result is shown as:
The suppressed rows are now shown. The shown rows in the last filter result are now hidden beneath the '+' sign. If you need to extract the invert result, invoke 'DigDB->Extract Result->Copy Visible Rows to New Sheet'

Invert DigDB Filtering and Table Match

After you are done with DigDB Filtering, or Table Match, click a single cell in the filter result area, invoke 'DigDB->Invert Filter'

Above screen shot has a DigDB filter of 'Age=5'. The unmatched rows are hidden beneath the '+'. Inverse of the filter result is shown as:

The invert simply switches the shown and hidden. If you need to extract the invert result, invoke 'DigDB->Extract Result->Copy Visible Rows to New Sheet'

Invert last invert

Invoke 'DigDB->Invert Filter' immediately after the last invert. This is equivalent of canceling the last invert and go back the original filter result.

To clear all filtering and return to the original list, click 'DigDB->Clear Filter'. It clears not the DigDB filter result,but also Excel's AutoFilter and Advanced Filter.
